Galvin Green PacLite - Paclite with PacLite

I have quite often been in that situation on the course where I have a shot that's smack bang in-between two clubs and I can't decide which to hit. Now that I am practicing more the problem has transferred to my clothing. It's cold but not windy, slight drizzle, yet still sunny so thick coats would be too hot, windstoppers not warm enough and it's just really helpful to have the Paclite in the bag.

For milder conditions where rain is still possible, Galvin Green employ Gore-Tex PacLite material in many of their waterproof jackets and trousers. Condensed to a thinner layer, PacLite offers the same level of breathable weather protection as the performance shell. However, it's HALF the weight due to being a single layer of Gore-Tex with no bulky inner lining, it's also available in short sleeve jacket styles that continue to reduce the weight.

If you are one of those golfers who have worn waterproofs grudgingly, then Galvin's PacLites are for you. I wear both trousers and jacket in the material and hardly feel they are on. Compared to some of the suits I wore before being introduced to the Swedish supplier, these are a dream. Incredibly lightweight, comfortable and I am quite happy to leave them on even when it stops raining. Another compliment to PacLite's weight reduction is that its available in half zip pullover styles.

The other plus is space. PacLite golf waterproofs fold up into a fraction of their full size. I can put the jacket and trousers into the ball pocket of my Sun Mountain bag. So if you're feeling lazy and just want to take out a half set in the pencil bag, you can still bring your waterproofs. PacLite comes with Gore's lifetime guarantee and is also machine washable.
