ebay feedback?
Here is a good discussion question for all of you out there. I sell things on ebay to help stimulate my declining checkiing account while I am in colllege. And I have a problem buyer who I need to ask your opinion on. I shipped the person's item out hte day they paid, provided a tracking number and packaged it well. I packaged it in a padded envelope. When the buyer left feedback, it was rated positive but left negative comments about how wasteful I was with packing material. This has since hurt my seller listings per ebays new policys. I left feedback saying that the transaction was good but buyer complained about something. It was not rude, it was just stated as the truth. I then got a really Rude reply from the buyer saying that she was going to badmouth me to anyone who would listen, etc. Was I wrong to leave the feedback that I did. I personally do not think that it was that bad. Also, do you think that ebay feedback is the proper venue to spout your political views?
You did the right thing, there are just jerks out there who need an excuse to take out other things they were already mad about on someone else. Their comments shouldn't have hurt you that bad, especially since they still left the positive rating. Anyone who checks will see that the rest of your dealings have been fine and they will disregard the nut. There's no way for them to "bad mouth" you, outside of the feedback, and here again, anyone who checks your feedback will see the other positive feedback and ignore the nut.
No, eBay is not the proper venue to spout your political views.
