Magic Tail
My cat only has a stump of a tail, will it affect her balance/life?
My newly adopted black cat Magic has less than 1/3 of her tail, it was amputated when she was injured after being abandoned. Cat shelter said she should be fine doing normal cat stuff, but just checking for any imput out there for anything else i should be aware of, as you guys seem to be v knowledgeable! Thanks!
My sister has a cat who had to have her tail amputated because it was infected. Your cat should do fine. After the operation, she might have to wear a plastic collar to prevent her from licking her rump, and that will make things awkward. My sister's cat adjusted to life without a tail quickly after getting rid of the collar, and yours should too.
