A job in engineering, maybe for space things like wallops island?
I don't know, this might seen stupid, but I've always been really interested in space and want to build things for space travel, but I don't know if I'm smart enough.
Do you have to get a degree from a really good college? What should I study?
I love building things, but I've been feeling like a total failure since I passed up turning in an essay this summer for this amazing 4-year engineering class in the technical high school. I had my foot in the door, and I just kinda didn't do it, and I don't know why, and I regret it so much.
Are there camps for this? (the only space camps I've seen only take middle schoolers, I'm in 9th grade & went last year.)
Maybe an internship or something. Anyone who has experience or help in this, please answer.
Sorry for rambling like this, I just keep feeling like I lost a very big opportunity and can't stop thinking about it, and am kind of depressed.
Its not the end of the world. If you are about to go to college, a major in aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering to get a good start. While in college, intern for some space companies or even NASA
