Iii Fly
Looking for a aviation lawyer to represent me to the FAA Aeromedical Records to obtain my III Class Med. Sp. I
Had a infarc 5 years ago, did rehab and secured my III Class Med Special Issuance for past 5 years with no problem. Have done the annual stress test, have letters from cardiologist confirming my status and ability to continue to fly. FAA simply jerked my Medical.
Said my heart disease had progressed. Cardiologist said no, had not and that the last stress test ( nuclear ) was superior in every measurement from last nuclear stress test. FAA has continued to ask for more and more medical history, all of which they have reviewed at one time in the past. I am convinced they have been placed at odds with the cardiologist and do not want to change opinion no matter what. Help!
Check with one of your local FBO's or, alternatively, go discuss this with the people at your nearest GADO. I had a similar problem years ago and was surprised at how helpful and understanding the people at the GADO were... things may have changed since then, but I can't imagine that a polite conversation wouldn't get somekind of results.
