Hooks Tying
How do you correclty use horse cross ties?
I have recently been using quick release cross ties with my horse and I was always using them with the "quick release" part hooked to the horses halter. But then someone rudely corrected me and told me I was doing it wrong and that the hook should be attached to the halter, not the quick release part of it... I was just wondering which one of us is right. Me-the quick release part of the cross ties hooked to the the halter. Or Mrs. Rude- the traditional hook/clip hooked to the halter.

the quick release part should be on the halter because most horses don't like to be cross tied so they make the quick release to relase them and stop them from freaking out
soooo many times have people corrected me on things i was doing right
and if you mean by quick release, the ones that you pull down the little clip and it unhooks, then we are on the same page
