The polaroid effect?
So, good old polaroid have stopped making film for their cameras,
and until a few weeks ago i was going insane with trying to find the money to stock up on 600 film before it runs out...
But then i found out that the Polaroid company makes digital cameras that produce prints to the same effect of the film cameras...
So which would be the best camera to buy to get the genuine polaroid effect?
And also, can you buy the polaroid printing paper to make it look all out authentic?
Sorry, I'm just trying to find new ways to cope with such a dire loss.

The holding company that owns the name "Polaroid" has licenses a digital camera maker, but the cameras are third tear quality and have no relationship the the images made by Polaroid's instant film. They are just very cheap compact digital cameras.
Stick with Nikon,Canon, Pentax, Casio and other well known brands of compact digital cameras if you want dependability and quality.
If all the Polaroid camera owners are lucky, Fujifilm will start making the consumer grade film at the end of this year. They have been making the professional "instant" film for the Polaroid backs used on medium format and 4x5 view cameras for a number of years under license from Polaroid.
